ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?
We had a full house of parents and players excited about HAFL Football
Monday night, July 30, the Humble Area Football League kicked off the 2012 season with a league-wide parent meeting. There was an
excellent turnout with children and parents packing a local high school cafeteria. Every comment from the board members and local sponsors who spoke was punctuated with cheers from the excited
young players and cheerleaders. With a record number children participating this year the anticipation is palpable. HAFL has added a new feature to its cheer program this year by incorporating a
local competitive cheer program. Professional cheer instructors will be working with the parent volunteers and cheerleaders throughout the season to improve the level of cheer instruction
received.
The HAFL Board of Directors would like to welcome new families, greet the returning families, and thank all of the volunteer coaches
and parents who help every aspect of the program succeed. We look forward to a fun and competitive season of learning, sportsmanship, and growth for each child involved.
